Liverpool celebrates the third of its themed years in the run up to 2008.
As part of the wider SeaBritain celebrations in 2005, Liverpool plays host
to a few of the highlights.
Sea
Liverpool, a year long celebration of the city’s rich maritime past and
promising future coincides with the 25th annual Mersey River Festival.
Other points of focus will include the opening of the new £10
million cruise liner terminal, the start of the Clipper round the world
yacht race and the bicentennial of the Battle of Trafalgar.
