Margaret Murphy
Margaret Murphy was born in Liverpool and  attended Notre Dame High School for Girls.  Her first novel, Goodnight, My Angel, was shortlisted for the First Blood Award for debut crime fiction.

Her novels are generally classed as psychological suspense thrillers; the dual themes of alienation and social isolation feature strongly.
