- Neptune Theatre |
 The Neptune Theatre is an excellent and often understated venue offering a range of productions from children’s features to comedy to musicals.
Built in 1913 above the Crane Brothers music shop, the theatre was originally a venue for amateur drama groups but in the 1960’s it was taken over by Liverpool Corporation and is now Liverpool’s civic theatre.
It has gained a reputation as the foremost comedy venue in the city attracting performers such as Lily Savage, Bill Bailey, Harry Hill, the Reduced Shakespeare Company, Steve Coogan - who chose to film his video there - and Ardal O’Hanlon. |
