Lady Lever Art Gallery 
Sunlight Soap magnate William Hesketh Lever, the first Lord Leverhulme, founded the Lady Lever Art Gallery in 1922 and dedicated it to the memory of his wife. Set in the attractive garden village of Port Sunlight, the Gallery is world-famous for its British 18th and 19th century paintings, 18th century furniture and comprehensive collection of Wedgwood. Visitors can also enjoy beautiful Chinese porcelain,  tapestries and embroideries, Roman sculpture and Greek vases, and fascinating Napoleonic memorabilia.

Tate Gallery
The Liverpool Tate Gallery is the home of the National Collection of Modern Art in the North of England and the largest gallery of modern and contemporary art outside London.
The Gallery is housed in a beautiful, converted warehouse, which is part of the historic Albert Dock.  The Dock, completed in 1846 and the largest group of Grade I listed buildings in Britain, is on of the most visited attractions in Britain

Walker Art Gallery
The Walker Art Gallery opened in 1877, and was extended in the 1930s. Together with Liverpool Museum, it forms part of a group of fine 19th century buildings dedicated to public education and enjoyment in the heart of Liverpool. This area, centred on the imposing St George's Hall, has been called the St George's Cultural Quarter.  The Walker's collection includes world-famous masterpieces. Eminent 19th century collectors, who made their fortunes from the thriving port of Liverpool, brought together many of the greatest treasures.

Bluecoat Gallery
The Bluecoat began its life in 1717 as a charity school - the Bluecoat Hospital.  Now, nearly three centuries on, Liverpool's centre for the arts offers a range of exhibitions, live performances and activities, utilising the different spaces of this unique building.Local artists present their work alongside that of international artists in a programme which takes in jazz, a cappella, contemporary and classical Indian dance, street theatre, Arabic culture, crafts and much much more.

Cajobah Gallery
The Cajobah Gallery at Hamilton Square in Birkenhead has exhibitions running monthly mainly based around textile themes.Past exhibitions include a City & Guilds exhibition showing work by Cajobah students and an exhibition called 'Knitted Paintings' exploring the fine art potential of wool.  The Cajobah has contemporary textiles for sale, a shop selling art, crafts, gifts and cards and a tea room serving light lunches, teas and coffee.

Atkinson Art Gallery
Situated next to the Arts Centre on Lord Street, the Atkinson Art Gallery houses a superb collection of British Art from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries as well as a range of sculptures and prints. There are special exhibitions throughout the year although a standard feature is a fine collection of English Glass and Chinese Porcelain.  Regular changing programme of temporary and visiting art shows.  Admission is free, however, large parties should be booked in advance.

Mathew Street Gallery
The Mathew Street Gallery opened to the public on 24th June 1999 and is situated above the Beatles shop in the heart of Mathew street -  just yards from the original cavern club.

The gallery specialises in John Lennon Drawings and Beatles photography along with the work of Klaus Voorman and Astrid Kirchherr.

Williamson Art Gallery
This purpose built Art Gallery was built in December 1928 and houses the vast majority of Birkenhead's collection of artistic masterpieces in a series of varied and well proportioned galleries.On permanent display are Victorian oil paintings, English watercolours, Liverpool Porcelain, Della Robbia Pottery and the Baxter Vintage Motor Collection.A range of collections: from local history and ship models to fine decorative arts, part of the Merseyside Embroidery Trail and ongoing temporary exhibition programmes throughout the year.
